Having an injury is a frustrating experience. Not only does it prevent you from participating in the activities you love, but it also takes a toll on you mentally as the worry of pain is always lingering in the back of your mind.

Our goal is simple: get you out of pain, identify where the root of the problem came from, and give you the tools to prevent the pain from coming back. Learning how to listen to your body and take care of it independently is one of the most empowering lessons you can learn. It gives you the confidence and freedom to enjoy your activities without worrying about how you’re going to feel after.

We make sure to take a holistic approach to rehab. With a thorough evaluation, we get to the root of the problem so that we can not only get you out of pain in the short term, but prevent pain from coming back in the long term.

Goal oriented, solution focused care

Dr. Jackson Reiss PT, DPT, CSCS

Dr. Jackson Reiss graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, MA. He is also an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), which has shaped how he approaches his treatments. He believes that you are always an athlete and will work with you to get as much as you can out of your body for as long as you can. Jackson is an East Bay Area native where he grew up playing competitive basketball and is an avid Bay Area sports fan (go Niners and Warriors!). Through multiple injuries experienced while playing sports, he became passionate about not only how to optimally rehab from an injury, but also how to reduce the risk of future injuries through proper movement coordination and fixing muscular imbalances. Jackson understands the frustrations that come with being limited in daily life so his goal is to make a tailored plan of care, that includes manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and strengthening, to get you back to the things you love.
